Hello I wonder if any one knows the facts about travel time restrictions travelling outside of Spain, for UK expat residents?. I am having trouble figuring out the correct límit. Is it 6 months, 1yr? More!?
Does any one know the time we are límited to travelling outside of Spain please, WITHOUT losing our right to reside here?

My understanding is that as a temporary Spanish resident, you have to be in the country for a minimum of 183 days in any consecutive calendar 12 months. The 12 months start from when you received your favourable resolution of your residency.
It's a subject I've researched and there is some conflicting advice.
What do you know or have found out about it?

I was hoping for more flexibility as a long term permanent resident, but i just cant seem to get any clear advise about this.

My understanding is if you are a long term resident, you have permanent residency, you can stay away for up to 5 years?
I have a TIE which can be replaced with a permanent residency if I meet the criteria.of having stayed in the country a minimum of 6 months in any 12 month period?
Do you have permanent residency, or a TIE which is reviewed after 5 years?
