Hi

We are travelling to Gaucin but this year don't want to hire a car. Are there buses to Casares?

Hi Julie,

We live in San Luis de Sabinillas and have never seen a bus to Gaucin.

Manilva run some local buses but again not seen any too Gaucin.

I did a Google search and this site says there is a bus route from Gaucin down towards Gibraltar and then a bus route up to San Luis, but not Casares.

Thankyou for your help. Looks like we will hire a car after all.

Yes I think you need to. There are local rental places in Manilva that do some good deals. Purple Cars is one I have heard of.

There is Casares Pueblo (Village) that has ONE bus to Estepona and back per day!

Then there is Casares Costa.   Casares is actually quite a big place.  Relying on transit though around here very precarious.

You made the best decision to rent a car.  Have fun!
