I personally don't like the taste of the tap water and it can cause tummy upsets when not used to it.  You should fit a reverse osmosis water filter tap they are less than €100 to buy we have one and it is brilliant.  Lovely filtered drinking water from your main water source saves buying all those plastic bottles.  You have to change the filters every 6 months but it is easy enough to do.

Vonnie, can you share the name of the filter you have?  That is a very reasonable price compared to what i have heard.  Thanks.

Debra, have you tried the water & not liked it? Over 99% of tap water in Spain is safe & I’d expect Frigiliana water is safe, by all means check locally

If the taste is not to your liking you can buy filters, or Bottles, both cost options when you are paying for safe tap water anyway

Just as UK taste will vary from place to place, in Algarrobo, the water is fine for me

Try it, you might like it, & save yourself some money

That's great Debra, if the taste is OK for you, personally I wouldn't be buying filters or bottles
