Hola from Casey - a Zimbabwean in Competa!

Hi Everyone!

I just arrived in Competa today from the UK :) I have rented a place here, initially for 3 months but will probably be more whilst I decide if I want to buy a property in the Malaga province region. I have quite a few questions as you can imagine! Firstly I would like to buy a car - it needs to be automatic. Does anyone know of anyone selling or where I could start looking? I understand in order to do that though I need a NIE number, am I right in saying I need to go to Torre del Mar police station to get that sorted? Does anyone have any experience of this and can offer any advice at all?

Also I love hiking and yoga and I run too - are there any groups I can join that allow me to do these and also hopefully meet a few people? Would love to introduce myself! And if anyone knows of any jobs going I would be very interested and Spanish lessons too! Not asking much am I... sorry!
