My family and I are moving to Torrox park (Camping el pino) on the 6th September 2018. I am hoping to buy a second hand car, preferably a hatchback or estate car. 

I have a budget of around 800 euros, which I know isn't a lot but I only want a little run a bout until we get settled etc and can upgrade. 

Does anybody know of any dealerships or anyone in the area selling a car for around this price? I'm not really bothered about the make or model, as long as it rubs etc.

Hi, iv'e just joined the forum as we are looking to move to Torrox Pueblo next year. We are visiting for 2 weeks in October and have accommodation but will be returning in February and need somewhere to rent in the village probably for 3 weeks. We need either a 1 or preferably 2 bedroom townhouse with terrace with views.  

Looking for someone to repair my leaking Samsung Combi Fridge Freezer. Door seal possibly needs replacing. Located in the Torrox / Nerja area. Thank you. Doug

Hello I am a 31 year old woman with 8 years experience in the care sector. My main roles have been I  the care home looking after clients with

Dementia,challenging behaviour,Huntingdons learning difficulties and severe brain injuries.

I am caring and have a willingness to learn. Smart of appearance and very punctual. 

I can start work 2nd week of August as I will be moving then. I do drive and will be looking for any type of work my main experience is care and shop work.

Our house in the pueblo was robbed some time between Easter and early July this year. The burglars climbed the wall towards the street and broke in through a window on the first floor, the only window in the house not equipped with iron bars. They stole a TV-set (LG 25 inches) and then found a key for the basement where they stole three bicycles. The bicycles were all of the brand B'TWIN, one black roadracing bike, and two mountain bikes, one white and one light brown metallic. I don't write this post in the hope of getting the stolen items back, but to warn others in the area. I have heard rumours that others in the area also have being visited by burglars. We have notified the police,  mounted iron bars in the actual window, changed all locks, and made sure that no keys are left in the house. We will notify all neighbours and encourage everybody to stay alert so that we can stop these criminals from spoiling the peace of this delightful pueblo.

Have bought a property in Torrex furnished. Is it better to buy the neccessities  and send them by courier firm or buy in Spain? Can anyone reccomend a company which is reliable here in the Uk and not too expensive. Thank you Doreen 74
