Hi, first time poster here. We’re looking to purchase a property in duquesa which has a private pool which has sat unattended for a number of weeks and is therefore very dirty. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pool needs to be fully drained, cleaned and refilled. Does anyone have any experience of this sort of thing and, if so, an idea of how much it will cost and a recommendation for someone local that can do it well? Many thanks 

Hi, I am a special educational needs teacher looking to move to Costa Del Sol with my husband and 3 children. Are there many special needs schools or night schools that hire in advance of relocation? Or any schools for that matter - not specifically looking for a teaching post - open to assistant or admin too. Also, are there any suggestions for good Spanish schools for my children - 13, 10 and 1? My husband has an Irish passport so able to travel freely and ready to just make the move but advice would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

We are already resident (since 2017) inland La Axarquia. 

We are considering downsizing to an apartment and like the look of the La Duquesa, Sabanillas, Casares (Costa) areas.

Ideally looking for a good community with pool(s), well maintained gardens and well placed for facilities.

We will be coming to the area in March for a week for an explore.

We would welcome any advice on the pros and cons of areas, developments, areas to avoid, general thoughts etc.

Hi All 

We have just bought a penthouse in Coto Real.

We would like to buy 2 Moroccan looking doors to make into external and internal tables.

Does anyone know of a place where I could purchase?

There used to be a place near San Pedro but does,nt appear to be there anymore.

Also we want a builder to do some alterations including plumbing and electrics.

We need a glass supplier to cut 2 glass table tops and wall mirrors.

Also some who can supply and fit boil type curtains.
