I'm visiting the house owned by our English based charity in Casarabonela for the first time since covid and wondered if anyone on the forum fancies meeting up for a chat and a 'get to know you' sometime Wednesday 15th or Thursday 16th November? Failing that, it would be good to start making contacts on here. Our little house was gifted to us at www.realife.org.uk and its been a wonderful rest and chil space for friends of the charity over the past few years. We really need to make ourselves know in the wiser community though so do get in touch! all the best, Tony

Emergency services - 0 replies
Hello! We have recently moved into the campos outside of Casarabonela, on A-354. My parents are 80 years old and I’d like to see what emergency medical services are in the area. For example, is there an ambulance in Casarabonela, and local dr? Aside from dialing 119, any other info can be provided would be appreciated!
We need help sorting out our utility services and accounts - 8 replies
We would like to engage a Spanish speaker to help us liaise with the local authority, local utility providers, the solicitors acting for the previous owner and banking facilities for the property that our charity, Realife Trust, owns in Casarabonela.
There appears to be a problem with our ability to pay bills directly as the accounts are still in the name of the previous owner. They are being 'managed' by the local solicitor firm but all parties are keen to set up the accounts properly in our name, which are now in arrears. We have also been told that we cannot pay the accounts from a UK bank account, although I have read conflicting information on this point. We also understand that the electric meter needs to be refitted by the supply company. We have the necessary NIE and NIF numbers in place and copies of the utility bills to work with. If you can help us, please let us know costs for what we assume will be a solid half day of telephone work which could be done via Teams from the UK end with us or face to face from our office in Cambridge if preferred.
For your interest, details of the property can be found on our website at www.realife.org.ukmany thanksTony
