Hello everyone. I'm looking to rent a 3 bed, 2 bathroom house in Alcaucin for the month of February. 

We're all of "a certain age" ( min 60 ) and very careful and tidy

I'm coming for the whole time and my friends will come and go.

I have borrowed a car from friends in the area but would prefer a house/appartment within walking distance of the town centre. We would like a balcony and the property must have heating. 

Budget is up to 900 euros and we're happy to pay into an English bank account.

My husband and I come from Sweden and we have a nice apartment in Alcaucin. I have some furnitures that I would like to sell and I would like to know how I can do that?

I also would like to know if there is any other persons from Sweden living in Alcaucin?

With the new animal law that comes in at the end of September, I understand that everyone needs liability insurance for their dogs. I've got 2 terrier type pets (10kg each), and La Caixa say that it's not included in my house insurance, and have quoted 65 euros each per year. I wondered if anyone else has looked into this, or has more information about it....

Hi, purchased an apartment in May 2023 in Alcaucin and I’m wondering if anyone knows when the water rate bills are generated from the townhall?  Also I am right in thinking the IBI tax bill is not due until January 2024?

Looking to buy in alcaucin, do the locals live there. Is there permanent residents who live there or is it mainly holiday homes.
