My wife and I have been looking for a private health insurance suitable for non-lucrative visa. We are both 73. We have had three quotes, all over €300/month. Does anybody know if this Is this reasonable?
Many thanks.

Some advice wanted please. I'm selling my house in Estepona and want to know how I go about selling the contents separately. Unfortunately, I don't live there so would be flying in for a weekend to sort it out. Is there any company that would come and view and take the whole lot. I have some nice pieces. Any help would be musch appreciated!
My wife and I are applying for the Golden Visa and are arranging private medical cover.
I declared that I had a stent fitted 4 years ago, as such the medical insurance company wants to exclude any heart treatment cover. I realise I only need the policy for the Golden Visa application so will most likely accept this.
Once I have residency under the Golden Visa I assume I can simply rely on the Spanish health system?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I am really sorry to have to raise the matter of noise for a 2nd time; I expect there will be plenty more. So, moving on from dogs barking - I have some questions about the incredible continuous, loud noise that the frequent unnecessary gardening makes.
I might find some comfort if I know I am not the only one suffering and suffering is the right word! I am perplexed as to who thinks it is absolutely necessary to give a man a 'Flymo' (designed to cut small edges and around trees) to cut the entire grass area? Firstly the noise is unbelievably regular. Even in summer, we do not need a man with a Flymo walking around all day long cutting blades of grass, that no-one can see because he only did it 1 week ago or less! Secondly, who is actually paying for this service? Us residents of course. Obviously someone just wants to give a man a job - it is NOT necessary. It's hugely expensive and the noise does not comply with the 'sales' hype that claims this is a quiet residential community. It's quite the opposite. Who thinks it's OK to make this much noise on a continuous basis? Itt is literally continuous and if, like me, you happen to live on the marina - the echo means that wherever this man is 'walking around waving his machine' we can all hear it, loud and clear.
Just as you think, 3 hours later, that he is finished - out comes the other man with the worst noise of all - a leaf blower! There are no leaves, there are no blades of grass, there is nothing to blow. What a total waste of money and what a totally unnecessary job! Why is this place so obsessed with leaf blowers? - It doesn't switch on and off, there is no respite - he switches it on at 8 and it is still going on outside my house at 12:14 - four and a quarter hours later - what on earth is he doing? I've just watched him, he is holding it up in the air, switched on (he has ear covers on!) and just going for a walk! There is no work for him to do, there are no leaves, he is searching for a single blade of grass. It is madness - who is monitoring this? Who is Chief Financial Officer? Can he/she justify this expenditure?
I used to live on the front line of a golf course in beautifully well kept gardens (with flowers, something of a shortage here) and every tool was muffled or silenced - that equipment may not be cheap but it's silent. The only gardening noise pollution I ever heard was once a year, when trimming the palm trees (in April, of course!!)- those gardeners were experts - whereas here - goodness knows who they are.... from my penthouse I can see the tops of the green hedges - it's about as straight as a snake.
I had my vaccination yesterday and feel very unwell - I have a banging headache, have been awake all night with the 4 o'clock holiday parties but I suppose that should be my expectation when living in Sotogrande. However, what I do not expect is the chaotic organization of the gardening - i.e. why the hell are the palm trees being cut NOW? They've had all of May and June to do it!
I am furious that something like this isn't being reported - why is no-one concerned? why is no-one responsible for noise pollution?
Sorry to share such fury on here but I refuse to think that I am the only one who is bothered by this. I simply cannot bear it when places like Sotogrande are so over-rated.... the hype...the extravagant vocabulary to describe this place - it's just not true.
I would welcome any information as to how I might approach the correct department in order to attempt to rectify this problem. It doesn't have to be like this (At my London and Barcelona homes, the gardeners rake the leaves, they use petrol, quiet or silenced lawn mowers).
Thank you and I look forward to your response.
Hi
My family and I are due to fly to Spain on 28th July to visit our apartment in Calahonda. We’re aware of the entry requirements depending on whether you’re fully vaccinated but are nervous about our trip. Can someone tell me what life is currently like there, what the restrictions are and the likelihood of curbs being increased to a higher level? Thanks
