Repairs to shutters

Anyone got any recommendations for repairs to existing shutters in the Velez area please. English speaking preferred as Spanish not up to scratch for this job!

Hello
I recently installed some old French wooden shutters at my neighbour's house. They were quite beaten up and weathered so needed a lot of TLC ie scraping, wood filling where necessary, and painting.
If the slats are broken it's almost impossible to replace them without taking them apart.
I am a good handyman and would be happy to look at them for you. I am also a Brit.
