La Cala de Mijas Council - Council tax, basura and car tax, keeping my 5% discount for paying by DD

Energy Nordic - Electricity

Olivenet - Broadband

Urbanisation Administrator - Urbanisation fees

Lobster - Mobile phone, I use to charge to my Sabadell debit card, changed card details to my Wise card.

I had to fill in a few forms and exchange a few emails but all done now.

Why did I do this? Sabadell told me that due to changes to their charging rules I would no longer have free banking and would have to pay 60 euros a quarter. After discussion with Sabadell they agreed to reduce the 60 to 40 euros a quarter.

Now with Wise I won't be paying any quarterly charges :-)

I can now get on with closing my Sabadell account..

The only thing I need to be careful of is Wise charges for using an ATM to withdraw cash:-

If your card was issued in Europe or the UK: You can take out money for free twice a month — as long as the total amount is 200 GBP/EUR and under. But after that, we’ll charge you 0.50 GBP/EUR per transaction. This is a fixed fee. If you take out over 200 GBP/EUR in one month, we’ll charge you 1.75% on top of that.

I hope this helps anyone else thinking of making the change to Wise

How did you change the bank account on your car tax?  My car tax form says Patronato de Recaudacion, Provincial Diputacion Provincial De Malaga. I have searched through all their websites and cannot see where to change my IBAN number.

Jeffers, did you by chance stumble across a sort of standard SEPA form that you could use or did you just get every service provider to send you whatever DD change form they had?

I am having trouble communicating with my energy provider.  Starting to think it would be easier to switch to a new company rather than just change a DD.  LOL...
