I am looking to go on holiday to Villanueva del Trabuco but can only see Alsa operating 3 buses per day from Malaga return. Does anyone know of other bus operators or is this all there is? Many thanks

Afraid that Alsa are the only operator for this route. I live in Trabuco and the journey is fine, just sit back and relax. Bus stops on the Plaza in the village, so it is very central

Is it a nice place to live? There seems to be  plenty decent bars and restaurants & not a lot of ex-pats?

It is a beautiful place to live. The people of all backgrounds are nice and friendly and the village (more like a town) has plenty of shops, banks bars and restaurants. Far enough away from the coast, but close enough to Malaga, 30 minutes away by car. Village is kept in great condition by our ayuntamiento as well

I’ll soon find out as over staying in Alora in September but plan on hiring a car & visiting for the day. Thanks so much for your help!
