Advice please on Selling a Property

Morning all, I have joined this site to ask for some advice please. My parents own a small apartment in Torrox Costa, my Father sadly passed away last year and my Mum would now like to sell it. As she is elderly and not very knowledgeable about how to do this (as am I) I am appealing on here for some help please. The property deeds are in joint names and I wonder if anyone could advise if initially these need to be altered before selling the apartment? Also could anyone recommend a local English speaking solicitor who won't charge the earth for conveyancing. I would be really grateful for any advice/recommendations. Many thanks. Karen

I have used Rocio Fernando's Robles numerous times. She is very helpful and she and her assistant Paqui. Speak fluent English.

They are based in Colmenar which is inland from Torrox but not far away for your purpose.}

Hello Karen

Sorry for your loss.

We had the same situation last Year but with dad surviving mum.

We used Pablo rojo Platero in Frigiliana, very efficient and friendly family firm who speak English. We had to have a deed of inheritance first which they handled, they also deal with all our conveyancing. They work a lot with the Torrox notary which will be a handy location for you.
