You will get your health card in a few weeks but you can use the reference number on your UK SI for urgent treatment, the UK will clear charges for treatment.

Fingers crossed we will hear soon as we registered 4 weeks ago but the status has not changed.

Many thanks

OMG..... I hope ours do not take that time! How long before the status changed? Do you think it will be quicker to ask for an interview? I assume we cannot register for a doctor until we get a card?

🤨🤨

We registered at the health centre and have had covid boosters and bowel screening without seeing a dr. They sent us letters for those. We still have private health insurance at the moment. Hopefully the S1 will come through quickly for you. Good luck

Hi, do you think we could register at the doctors then ? I thought we had to wait until we got the card.  Our S1 certificate was made active from 1/4/22.

Many thanks for your time with this query.

Hi it’s probably worth going to your health centre to find out. We are still in process so don’t have all the answers yet 😁. One day maybe. 🤞🏻 Meanwhile, stay healthy.

It's not like UK you register at a health centre, GP;s as Brits know them here private, but very cheap, about 60 Euro. 30 minute session.
