Good Evening , Please can you tell me if there are many bars / restaurants within short walking distance in Torrox pueblo? and also do buses run from pueblo to costa? Hoping to spend a few weeks here next year ( fingers crossed) in the hope of buying a property . Any info would be much appreciated.🙂

Hi there,
Yes, there's a good selection of bars and restaurants in the pueblo, mostly local cuisines and mostly very good. There's an excellent bus service between the pueblo and the coast, running from early morning until evening.

Buses run every hour on the hour. Best to get to bus stop in torrox pueblo at 30 mins past the hour and cost 1 euro to costa. From their there are many buses running hourly all around the region, costing anything from 3 to nerja or 9 euros to get to Malaga, stopping every where on route. Also other buses go into mountain pueblo like sayalonga, vinuela and competa. If you grt confused ask at bus stops as everyone are extremely helpful and friendly
