Hi folks, l am staying at a Town House in Torrox Public and want to know to get to Nerja is it one bus not do I have to get a second bus from Torrox Costa? Also, I want to travel on buses from Nerja to Frigliana, do you know the bus number, and is there a bus station in Nerja. If there are any other places to visit, that is worth a look, please let my know. Sometime during my stay I will spend the day in Maliga, do I go to Nerja for the bus? You can tell this is my first visit to the Costa del Sol. Kind regards  Spiceboy.

Hi there,

The bus service around Torrox is excellent, and you can get buses to take you all around the country. There isn't a direct bus from Torrox pueblo to Nerja, you have to go to the costa and pick up the Nerja bus there. But, it's not difficult, there are many buses from early in the morning till late at night, and from the costa to Nerja is about 12 minutes.

When you get to the pueblo, go to the Tourist Office (the bus stop is right outside!) and ask them for local bus timetables, they have an extensive range. Buses in the area are generally good but, some of the inland villages have limited service so it's worth planning trips in advance if you fancy going to any of them (places like Alcaucin, Sayalonga, for example). Getting to Frigiliana is easy from Nerja.

I live in Torrox pueblo, and don't have a car so, if you need some guidance just get in touch on here and I'll be happy to help. You will fall in love with this area, be warned!!

Hola Spice boy. To get to Nerja you will need to change bus at the costa( or walk down to Costa, lovely walk) buses are clearly marked as to where they are going. Large bus station in Nerja where you can get to Frigliana. I use, '''busbud.com'''.   to check routes. You can also get a bus from Torrox pueblo to Malaga, great value. Enjoy 😎

Hi Pricklyone,

I am so looking forward to Torrox Publio, I look at the clips on You tube, it looks a great place. I still have 5 months to go!              (29th Sept). You are a very lucky person to live there. We have rented a Town House near at beautiful church, and the views from the sun terrace is smashing.

Hi Prickyone,

Can I pick your brains, again.  Where is the best place for shopping?  Would it be Malaga, or is there somewhere more nearby.

Regards

Hi Leiza I’m looking for information on getting a bus from Malaga to Torrox Pueblo, and also Torrox to Malaga Airport, which bus company does this? And how long does the journey take?

Hi is there an express bus from Malaga to Torrox, we’re travelling next Sunday, also is there an express from Torrox to Malaga airport? I’ve looked both on Alsa and Avanza, but can’t get info from either
