It's almost impossible to answer that question in a way that would be useful to you. What one person loves, another may hate. Some folk are prepared to compromise their ideal place for something practical or affordable or accessible. Others are not going to give up even a tiny bit of their dream. The only way you will know what it's like for you is to come here and try for yourself. Rent a place, give it a year before deciding. It's such a personal decision, it's not possible to say what will work for you.
Good luck!

We moved to Spain last year, just north if Velez Malaga. I have a friend who used to rent in Torrox pueblo and loved it. For me, moving to Spain was a great choice. We've joined a local church which has helped us to make friends. The Spanish folk we've come into contact with are fantastic. We would recommend it.

Im not sure that you can just move there now unless you apply for residenzia. I think the current rules are that you can only stay for 90 days

Torrox pueblo is very noisy and parking is awful. Unless you are looking for a small cheap pueblo house then you would be better off looking on Torrox Costa. There are loads of appartments right on the beach. If you are looking ...

There you go! A response from someone who really wouldn't want to live in the pueblo.
I, on the other hand, couldn't think of living anywhere else, for me it's perfect. Torrox costa would not be anywhere in my top ten of places to live. It just goes to show that what one person thinks is great, another person thinks is awful. You have to spend time somewhere to know for yourself.
