Where are the best places to eat on Christmas Day in Torrox? Are there any good hotels around? Or maybe trips to other villages?

If you want the ultimate Christmas day and to eat out I suggest 'Malaga City', the town is alive the food markets selling food and drink and the Spanish in their Sunday Best. Nothing to compare with it on the coast, Here is a link to a great restaurant, if fully booked take a walk wound and find one of your choice.  https://www.laplazamalaga.com/?language=en  La Plaza Restaurant Malaga is near a good underground car park.

Thank you for this, is the bus timetable different to normal around the holidays? We don’t really want to hire a car

Busses, trains and metro are running normally although some lines can have a reduced service, especially on 25th of December.

I'm sure will be transport, touch wood weather OK, you will find it very enjoyable, it's a wonderful experience in Malaga city.
