I´ve lived out here for nearly ten years.

I can tell you employment is quite hard to come by. Employment laws here make it very difficult and quite risky for someone employing staff, in that getting rid of them for whatever reason, is often very difficult and very expensive.

With that said, good trades men don´t seem short of work. You might want to think about putting a small advert out for your services as a self employed plumber? Plenty of places to do that. Expat communities are quite tight, so once you´ve done a few good jobs, word spreads very quickly and you should find plenty of work. Good luck.

Thank you for the reply not rushing into anything as I’m still very busy over. Here also not quite sure how things will be after Brexit !!!so need to to see what comes of that
