What's open in Montemar

We will be staying next door building , friends over there tell me the bars etc are open upto 6pm then take away upto 9.30 pm theres a cut off time to place them there is a great place called Kellys at 1 end of the main road and Fig and olive  at the other also a great Chinese on the way if you like it. Its a great resort with alot to offer .

Thanks for the reply. This will be our 6th Christmas/New Year in Montemar. Previously stayed at the Riu Nautilius. We found quite a few bars open when we arrived about 21st Dec but then many closed until the 3rd Jan. However, we still found plenty of places to eat and drink. Kelly's if i remember was one that closed nearerto Christmas. 

Had a change last year and tried an apartment, so we booked this apt Carihuela Suites in January. I also saw the post about not being able to travel from Malaga to Torremolinos? Have looked on the internet but can't find an update yet? Have you heard anything from your friends?

All a bit confusing as we know we need a PCR test as well.

Hi Jan

Ive been told that we can travel if by taxi to resort but rules to be reviewed by end of next week  (11dec)  so lets hope we get some official notice then incase hearsay is not stricktly true from friends .

Thanks for the update and fingers crossed there is a change to the opening hours for the bars/restaurants.
