So are there no taxis working from airport to pick up from incoming flights?

Please be aware of the Spanish requirement for a negative covid test certificate at point of entry and the test within 72 hrs
Also the curfew as Ryanair fly in from Bournemouth Malaga sometimes arrival 2345 so if you are being picked up ensure your friends have a copy of the boarding pass to show the police if stopped en route to the airport ...

Apparently, in mainland Spain this negative test is required at the airport from today, November 23rd.
However, as I understand, Brits are restricted from travelling here for holiday, until at least the 2nd December. This will apply to ‘essential’ travel only.
As said, the Policía are out and about on the roads in my area confining us to our immediate area.

I think there should be a clear statement by the authorities, the airport and the airlines
If flights are being allowed to land during the curfew then passengers need to be forewarned
Taxis yes but are there sufficient taxis to cope with the incoming flights during curfew bearing in mind public transport may be lacking or non existent
What fare charges are being charged by the taxis
It seems odd that the matter hasn’t been made clear
But I would think that if you have a self drive or are being picked up by family then having the copy of the boarding pass will demonstrate your journey is just

There doesn’t seem to be clarification. Spain and the UK have different rules. I still can’t understand why holidaymakers are being ‘allowed’ to come over on holiday from the UK end. Their insurance will be invalid. As I understand, they have to complete an online form which would detail their purpose of travel. I guess people will just lie and say they are coming over for business or whatever the other options are.
We can’t even go into Fuengirola which is approximately 5 miles away - nor, M&S, 12 miles, in La Cañada, Marbella for my Christmas shopping.
Still, best to obey the rules - they are fining heavily here.

latest from uk government as of today!!

interesting about overland and other travel comments !!
I think that the testing requirement will put any holidaying idea on hold (but if too stringent the future damage to the Spanish economy maybe affected -in the uk it seems there is a do as I say and not as I do )
However there are some of us who must return to the uk to finalise our emigration ie house sales, accountants etc
