We live in Alcaucin but spend a lot of time in Torre del Mar. We are pensioners from London area. Have lived in Spain for 12 years. We are looking for a long term rental (not just the winter months but year long). Ideal property would be a small villa or town house close to the beach. Furnished or Unfurnished. 2/3 beds, 1/2 baths, parking. Up to 1000 euros a month. Anywhere along the coast from Torre del Mar to Malaga.

Also looking for clubs etc where we can meet Expats around Torre del Mar.

Thanks

Hi

I have a friend in Madrid who is actively looking to relocate down here and I,ve been looking .Be warned as I am seeing that just like the UK( ie people from Home Counties relocating to Bournemouth etc ) the people from Madrid ,Cordoba etc are now post lockdown looking to relocate to this area and this is having a marked affect on both purchased and rented properties especially close to the beach .In the rental market there will be people who will want to rent before they buy(ie find which area etc ) as well as long term renting

Also another Spanish friend in Madrid has asked us to look for a first line of beach property (flat) to buy in Rincon area. and has approx 350K budget and theres not a lot out there

By all means use the useful websites ie idealista etc but the market is changing and be aware

Yes you may find the property and I wish you the very best in your search but be aware

PS I am not an estate agent but someone looking for two friends and was amazed at the changes

Also be sure to visit the flats and the areas be fore you rent
