Hi does anyone know where I need to go to register a car in my name. I know I can go to a notary and they will do it for me but does anyone know how I can do it myself and where the office is? I have tried to google the information but to in avail.

I don't know how to do it yourself but if you want a gestor to do it there is one in Estepona who specialises in matters relating to cars and driving.

I live just outside of Estepona but it actually comes under Benahavis. It was extremely easy to do a change of address at the local town hall in Benahavís. However for change of ownership you may have to go to Tráfico. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
