They do the tests at the hospitals - Cenyt is I believe 145e (which is the highest I have heard of) and Hospiten I am told is less but you would have to call them.  Helicopteros is an expensive hospital.  These are for PCR tests.  If you can use an antigen then great...that is alot less expensive.

Would be great to hear from someone if they succeeded in flying back to the UK with ONLY an antigen test.

Good luck all!

Please can anybody tell me where I can get a PCR test done to fly to UK. Thank you

As someone else has said, you can fly with an antigen test. Do remember you have to book 2 PCR tests in the UK before you leave.

Test providers and type of test ….. UK GOV

You will need to find a test provider. You must make sure that the test provider can meet the standards for pre-departure testing.

The test must meet performance standards of ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 100,000 copies/ml.

This could include tests such as:

  • a nucleic acid test, including a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or derivative technologies, including loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) tests
  • an antigen test, such as a test from a lateral flow device

It’s your responsibility to ensure the test meets the minimum standards for sensitivity, specificity and viral load details. You must check with your test provider that it meets those standards.

You may not be able to travel if the test does not meet these standards. It’s your responsibility to ensure you get the right test that meets the above requirements.

Sounds like a good idea or there’s a bus goes from la Linea to San Luis de sabanillas. There you can pick up a taxis for €5.
