I've just looked at my bank statement and back in July I have €77.58 taken by the Town Hall (ayuntamiento) with no explanation what its for. Has anyone else had a similar amount taken and have any idea what this may be for? My Basura payment is separate. My community fees are paid separately too.

Yes in July the local Town Council applies a tax to its community members. I believe its for local services including local parking/roads, probably rubbish pickup and the such like that.
