Hi I have been in the healthcare industry for over 11 years , I plan to move to Spain in the next 2 months and would like to find work before I come ? I have a driving licence and have own vehicle I plan to move any where I can find the work in the Costa del sol area ? Many thanks
Wishing you well in your move, I wanted to do something in healthcare when we move over too but it seems very complicated getting a visa so I'm not bothering.
Oh ok . So you do not work now ? Did you need to apply before you made the move or once you had done ?

I don't know when you would have to apply for it but if you are a 3rd country citizen your new employer would have to show that they cannot hire a EU citizen for the job and then they would assist with applying for the work visa. I have now learnt that I can 'piggy-back' off of my Irish partner so would not need a visa, but I have decided that I don't really want to work after all!

Hi I'm also a experienced community support worker specialised in disabilities sector. So I'd also be keen to hear if any positions/ companies available in nerja area as will be moving over as soon as I sell our home in nz. I'm an EU citizen 😉
