Hi, thinking of booking a late holiday in Nerja. We were there in March but lockdown forced an early return, i dont want ghe same to happen this time.

Are hotel, bars and restaurants open? How is daily life in Nerja compared to the norm?

Thanks fo any advice.

Bars and resturants are generally open as normal, although some didn't re-open after lockdown and some have gone out of business, so have some shops. Some have reduced hours, closed some days and some have closed earlier for the winter than normal (ie The Paradise bar, Burriana).

It is quiet, less people on holiday, and some bars and resturants struggled during the summer through lack of Brit tourists. But the Scandinavians are arriving for the winter. Trouble is the Swedes never locked down or did anything else re Covid so have a bit of a gung ho attitude about group numbers and wearing masks.

Hotel wise, The Nerja Club, Villa Flamenca, Marinas de Nerja and Perla Marina are all closed until the spring.

If there us anything more specific you need to know, give me a shout.
