Dog friendly hotels/B&B

Hi there

I always stay at Cigarral el Bosque just outside Toledo! It’s a fabulous dog friendly hotel. Great food, lovely gardens and views!! And the perfect stop over !

Can you give us an idea of how long  the drive is from Santander down to Cigarral el Bosque

It’s about a 5 hour drive from the ferry port. So not too bad if you stop for an hour or so to have a break. Avoid the toll roads and you’ll find picnic areas en route. It’s actually a really nice drive and the roads are so quiet. 

Hello. We always stay at the ibis near Madrid airport, dogs are welcome and given a gift, the hotel is just off the motorway, and has a restaurant, the are restaurants nearby and a supermarket below the hotel, don’t hesitate,

We usually allow about 41/2 to 5 hours, but we are a bit slow, and we stop for coffee and dog walk and wee stops.  We don’t rush anymore, we are too old for speeding.
