Good Morning
I usually bring euros in cash when I come over to Nerja, because there is no safe in the apartment this time I am thinking of bringing a Travel Money Card, I was wondering if anyone can tell be if they are widely accepted in supermarkets, shops, restaurants & bars.

I have used a FairFx Mastercard for many years and have had no problems with it being accepted anywhere.
You can get a Wise card which allows you to add money to it and convert to any currency to use when you want. It can be used as a normal debit card.

Hi, I have used the Post Office money travel card for the last two years. It’s great you use it like a debit card once you have loaded the app on your phone it’s easy to load money onto, and when you get back from holiday you have the option of changing the euros back into sterling or other currencies. I tend to change back into sterling when the rates are right and then carry on using the card in the UK like a debit card in restaurants petrol stations anywhere you like.
With the App you can check your balance at anytime in seconds. I love it and would definitely recommend it
