British -Dual nationality issues

As per Simon Calders article-has anyone looked at the subject especially children?
My wife is Spanish ,my daughter born in malaga (2010) and holds Spanish passport -im British living here since 2020 but according to the news then our daughter will need either a British passport or cert of convenience
According to gov uk the Embassy route is no longer available as ALL British passports are ONLINE -the ETA is not available to British or IRISH
No doubt there will be a rush of online applications but some will have to alter their travel holidays to uk as time is against them
