Hi..trying to get some UK channels over here. Suggested that Astra2 is the one needed but that is a fairly weak signal. Anyone recommend any other satellites that might do the trick??

I'm sure all you will get now is Astra 2 & you need at least a 1 metre dish, if you have a UK viewing card you can get Sky News HD and a few other channels like Dave & Sky Sports/F1 plus news like CNN. There are lots of Free to Air channels most poor. Most people now watch via streaming and a VPN or buy a MAG - IPTV Set Top Box, not really legal and some operators have been busted, but seems what most people use now.

I suspect buffering due to low speed, you can do a 'speed check' with an App on your phone, really need about '40 Mbps', it might be you get a better speed Firestick 'away from the TV'. Sometimes helps with an extension lead, find best Wi Fi signal position for speed room with your smart phone. (Also hold phone and check speed next to Fire Stick plugged into TV)

It does not have to be away from the TV, just a matter ff can you find a hot spot away from the TV with a greater data rate yours a little slow for TV mine for example 147. However, if you cannot find a hot spot greater the where Firestick plugged in my suggestion will not help.
