Pets travelling with us

Check out booking.com and include the filter "pets allowed". There are quite a few places which accept pets. If it's long-term accomodation you're looking for, then before signing any contract, you must state that you have pets. As for hotels, that's a bit more difficult. Most places make a small charge for a pet. That should also be clarified as you may suddenly find you're being asked to pay an extra 20€ a day. 

Bear in mind you cannot take pets into any restaurant or supermarket. Some shops allow them, some don't. If you're coming during the mild winter months, you can sit on the outside terraces of restaurants and cafès with your pets, which is not a problem. 

They are allowed on the local train but not buses unless it's a guide dog.
