We tried different companies. Some of them try to bullshit you with insurance or fuel or both. Since 2012 we rent our car at www.hellehollis.com - they are placed just next to Malaga airport, having bus transfer (clean bus with working air con, and not carrying 200 person in a 40 Person bus)

They are completely transparent when it comes to insurance and fuel. Cars are in very good condition, of course they may have a scratch or small dent, but we never had any issue at all the last 9 years (renting 3-4 times per year)

You get the car with full tank, if it is returned with half full tank, they return half of the fuel deposit, if you return with full tank the complete deposit is returned. And the deposit is returned immediately when the car is returned - not 3-4 weeks later with deductions. Insurance you can decide to buy insurance or they make a reservation on your credit card - your choice - and nobody try to talk you into additional insurance.

Hellehollis also offer a fast lane - and that means fast lane - you enter the counter, you get the contract (which is prepared), show your driving license, get the key and leave - less than 10 minutes after you get there, you are ready to leave.
