Hi again

I'll be going to live permanently with my husband.

Yes, I loved the area too, hopefully escaping the rat race here in the UK and get some peace and quiet.

As I said look up Costa Del Paradise. I've bought through them and everything has gone smoothly so far.

Wendy and Lin took me round the park and showed me the homes and around the village.

Maybe we will see you there.

Best wishes

Diane

Thanks again Diane for all your advice and I hope you and your husband find it to be your Costa Paradise.

All the best

Geoff.

Hi, I am a 67 year old guy thinking of relocating to the Antequera area at either Saydo park, La Posada or La vina any advice would be very appreciated. Regards Geoff.

Hi Geoff, we bought our home 2 years ago on La Vina, still working yet unfortunatatley, but 2 more years and we will be out for good, can recommend La Vina, it is a fantastic community, and the family who own it are brilliant, everyone so helpful and friendly, 2 weeks to go till we are out again, you should take a look, lin and Wendy who show you round are great girls too, hope you find what your looking for

Hi Geoff -

I looked at all the parks and bought one in Antequera spa park in the end. Moving in next friday! It depends what you want I think.. In Pueblo Fiesta (Mollina) you have a quiet park, but its got its facilities, and everything is within walking distance otherwise, there are a few nice restaurants as well.. Saydo Park is open to everyone, being a hotel too and consequently there are more people especially in the summer months. La Vina is lovely too - but that bit farther to walk to the shops and bars. At first I was attracted to La Posada - mainly because of the bowling green - until I found out everyone is welcome to the one at Saydo park. Its a lovely park - but so far away in the sticks, thinking of travelling time to the airport etc. No - Antequera Spa park for my money....

Hello

It's also called Pueblo Fiesta. Look on Costa Del Paradise site, they show the parks and available vans.

Personally, having lived on that park, if I'd known what I know now I wouldn't have bought on a park - I now rent a 3 bedroom house for a little more than what the monthly rent works out on the parks and I'd still have the money I paid for the van in the bank now.

La Vina seems like a nice park but as people have said its just a little bit further to walk into the village than from Pueblo Fiesta.

Living on a park is a good way to get yourself familiar with living in Mollina - you have the expat community on the park and the Spanish once you venture into the village.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. We have thought the same after seeing some of the fees the camp sites charge and like you said we will still have the money of the mobile home in the bank.

We are now going to rent in Santa Pola.
