If my understanding is correct when applying for a Non Lucrative Visa the Spanish Consulate will want to see my Medicsl Insurance Policy paid upfront for 12 months.
If we are unsuccessful at obtaining a visa will the Health Insurance company keep my money or will they refund?
Also does this document tequire legsalising and translating before our Consulate appointment?

Hi Annie I asked the same question, and the answer is yes you DO have to pay upfront for your healthcare before you apply for your NLV, I went with DKV and they told me if I don't get my visa I can cancel my policy and refund the remainder, ok you may loose a couple of months, but you can ask them to start it just before you get your appointment with the consulate. I did mine 6th July. Hope this helps good luck. Graham.
