Better off buying a house or renting a house in mollina,  it's far cheaper and closer to everything you need. The parks aren't for everyone. Plenty of  horror stories from people on the park

Hi Barry what kind of horror stories are you talking about? Can you please enlighten me I am very interested to hear the bad aswell has the good to help me in my decision. Thanks Graham.

Hi Thanks for the reply, is the park as good as you expected or better in your opinion, i am coming over next week to have a look around. Thanks Very Much.

When you get here come and see Pueblo Fiesta or Lazy Days as its known as. Its in Mollina whereas Saydo is a little bit out.

Hi Barry. My advice is to rent a property this is the best way to find out for yourself if you like the place. So many people just buy a holiday home or like l did get a property built, only to regret it later. I had a property built and have now got to demolish most of it as the local town hall Alora are saying we do not have the full building licence. So be very careful with what you put your money into.

I've watched it many times on Bargain loving Brits in the Sun!

They seem very happy there.

Sales are maybe down to the Brexit effect.

Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun 2020 | Where is the caravan park? (saydoparks.com)

We started off in a Camp Park in 2001. It was 1850 euro a year to park our wood cabin. I believe now it is 3,500 and I know one down the coast taken over about 10 years ago by a British company that immediately raised the rent to 5,000euro a year back then!

We bought an apartment instead in 2007 for various reasons. The best point on the camp site was that everybody knew each other and pulled together if anyone needed help. Also the owners controlled any anti-social stuff.

What worried me most was that you are only secure for a year at a time, so if the owner sold up to a developer which I believe happened to one park a few years ago near Benidorm, you are out!

Cost is another thing, we pay about 800 euro a year in council tax, rubbish disposal etc, a lot cheaper than a park.

You should come and see Pueblo Fiesta where I live, its right in the town of mollina. In fact a lot of the residents walk in to town to get their shopping.

Have a look at Parque La Vina as well. We moved there 12 months ago and love it. Its not as far out of the village as saydo.

I would also add come and have a look at Pueblo Fiesta or Lazy Days as its called. Dont be put off by the fire we had last year, its a small park with less cliques than Saydo !!!

Its also much closer to the village than saydo, you can walk to town in approx. 10 mins.

We are a happy bunch here !

We were put off from buying on Saydo because of the cliques, apparantly it can get very bitchy. Come and visit Pueblo Fiesta or Lazy Days asa itx sometimes called. Much friendlier and smaller and its within walking distance to the town.

Hi, there are less for sale now than when we first bought on the park 5 years ago. There were 30 odd resales then and Orange Grove only had 15 homes, now that road has 71 homes on it.

People move for different reasons, some have gone back to the UK to be closer to family as they are older,...

... some have decided to move to the coast.

Looking at Saydo ourselves, but seems that ground rent is fairly expensive compared to other sites.  Am I wrong ??.
