I know I am clutching at straws but does anyone know which is the best campsite for retirement between Pueblo Fiesta Residential campsite in Mollina and Guardamar Residential campsite in Guardamar Del Segura.

We were hoping to not have to get a car and use local bus service should we need it.

We’ve seen both of these. They are in quite different areas. Guadarmar is much nearer to the coast and a different climate to Mollina. Both sites are not fully established yet but guardamar has a cafe and bar/ Restraunt. It depends what you want really. To be honest even though it’s a nightmare to see both areas I’d recommend it. You can’t beat that feeling that you get when you look around.

We've just bought a Portuguese bungalow at Flamingo Park. There's a few for sale. Right on the edge of Fuente de Piedra village easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Small site with about 27 units, very friendly, over looking the lagoon.

Within view of Flamingo Lake reserve at Fuente de Piedra about 5 or 10 minutes drive of Saydo, 5 mins to Humillidaro / Mollina.  Fully residential, there's a camp site next door with a bar, restaurant and pool open all year round, same owners. Village Square within 10 minutes flat walk. Free water, ground rent +/_ €3,900 year. About 27 homes on site. We bought through Costa del Paradise but there are around 4 other homes mainly Portuguese bungalows for sale at the moment. With one mobile home also. Will try to post link. ALSA operate from square to Antequera which is about 15 minutes car drive away. Walk into village on the flat no hills.. Need anything else please just ask!

Could you please give me an idea of the weather in the winter months? Also do you know roughly how often the bus comes to the village?

Thankx

We are just leaving Mollina after visiting Pueblo Fiesta which we thought was lovely but we didn't like Mollina.

If you say Guardamar is worth a visit we will make the effort to go there.

Do you have any other recommendations.

Whilst in Mollina area you should really see Saydo and Parque de Posada and Flamingo in Fuentes de piadro.

There’s also Oasis parks north of Benidorm in Albir I’ve never been there but heard nice things.
