Do not believe this is correct, as you will stay more than 183 days/year you become a tax resident & pay tax in Spain, no matter what the source of income. As Holaitsdavid says theres a reciprocal tax agreement so you wont be taxed in UK.

This is wrong, previously in spite of the 6 months residence rule to pay tax in Spain, 'before we left the EU' people with a UK address could get away with paying their taxes in the UK & were 'under the radar'. Now to stay longer than 90 days you need to take residence & this means 'tax residence' Further you can only stay 90 days out of any 180, unlike UK where it's '6 months & you can leave for a day and return' there is little room for flexibly, even in the US you can leave and return, This is not the case in Spain and the Schengen area.
