Hi im Pauline

I currently  have my house on the market with a view to movng over to mijas costa area .

Im a long long time single mum - just turned 60 and feel its now my time to follow my dreams.

As i will be moving on my own i would love feedback on the best areas to look at where i will have the opportunity to meet new friends and feel part of a community  but where i also stand a chance of getting work .

Looking firward to hearing from you

Hello,

My husband and I are hoping to move there soon too.

Our house is sold in the U.K. and we hope to find a property in Malaga province soon.  I am 62, and think I'm probably very similar to you...I like fun and meeting people.  Let's keep in touch with how our searches are going!

Sally

Hi, I am hoping to move to the Mijas area this year sometime. Was going to sell up, but now going to rent my house here in Wales and rent in Spain to see how it goes. Had enough of UK, need something new, 60 next year so time is now. Big change, much needed excitement, challenge, new hope, you name it, all of that and more. Steve.

I really can recommend Sabinillas which is Estepona. It is about 30 km down the road from Gibraltar airport which is incredibly convenient for England.

It is a very nice town and is not all English, unlike some places. Everyone is very friendly, there is a superb beach and many very nice restaurants. We bought a flat there some years ago and were so pleased with it that we have now bought a house on the beach. The flat is now rented although the tenant has currently vacated so if you want to stay there just let us know
