Hi 👋 everyone

My husband and I are planning to make the move to Costa del Sol from the uk in about 12 months time and  hopefully on an entrepreneur visa. We plan to rent first before we buy, probably a 1 bed flat somewhere between Marbella and estepona. Could anybody recommend a reasonably priced district with good amenities and not too far inland. We don’t have a massive budget so we need to choose a location carefully.

Also, could anybody offer advice or tips on applying for an entrepreneur visa in 2025 plus a really helpful lawyer who could give us advice on doing this 😊

Here is all the information you need:

https://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/londres/en/ServiciosConsulares/Paginas/Consular/Visado-para-emprendedor.aspx

To apply for a Spanish entrepreneur visa, you need a valid passport, a completed application form, a recent photograph, proof of sufficient funds (e.g., bank statements, tax returns), a favorable report on your innovative project from ENISA or a Spanish Economic and Commercial Office, a criminal record certificate from countries of residence for the past 5 years, and private or public health insurance valid in Spain. You must also be over 18, be a non-EU citizen, and pay the visa fee.

Hi hopefully helpful advice is Coin which is between Marbella and estapona ! But it is slightly inland ! Been trying to research a place closer to estapona but cannot find the name of the place that would be cheaper !

Sorry I do not know what visa you are researching ! Intrigued what it is but good luck with obtaining it as the red tape in Spain is a nightmare ! You do get there in the end but takes lots of patience !

Lawyers I can recommend are Jorge Farrow and associates  and ask for Amaya ! We have used them for 20 plus years and based in the middle of Marbella ! Would highly recommend ! Amaya is brilliant !
Hope this helps ! Julie

Hi There - Goid luck with the move.  I would recommend Estepona itself as you will have better choices in renting and buying, really great bus service and all you need.  A great lawyer is Diana Garcia from Bucgat in the centre of Estepona . Tel tel:+34952791310

Good luck - Alan
