Does anyone know of a therapist to help stop smoking

British American Tobacco now sell the Vype pen here, have you thought of this as an alternative?  much safer if you cannot give up, this product is very close to the real thing.  Good luck,

Hello Helen, first are you permanently based in Marbella or retain NHS cover? I was a 35-40 a day smoker for many years and so addicted I had to fly with two nicotine patches in order to cope on long haul flights back in the day. The situation became untenable so I sought advice from my GP practice re cessation drugs. These are called Champix in the UK - generic name Varenicline- and you keep smoking until you just stop , say 2-3 weeks. I kept an emergency supply " in case" , however I lost any urge or inclination and have never had a relapse to this day . I even joined the Smokers corner outside work and enjoyed the smell but not even tempted. There is another PX called Zyban but preferred the former . Perhaps look into this along side the therapy option?

Good luck - once you manage it feels like you have been let out of prison!!
