https://www.shiply.com/

I used Shiply when I moved earlier this year, as did my daughters when they moved to Paris.

Basically, you sign up and put your details on site, where all the removers can see it. They then bid against each other and you pick the one you want. Often you find someone who needs to fill a big lorry and therefore the job can be shared between you, including the cost. Or maybe someone bringing a load from Spain to Ireland, and can take yours back, again reducing the cost.

Everyone is registered with Shiply, it's not fly-by-nights. There are reviews from users as well.

Hi Paul, we also moved from Mondale in Cork to Malaga in June this year we used a company called Careline, very professional, dealt with a guy called Daniel www.carelinemoving.com if you would like to check them out. They came to the house did an inventory and gave us a price we were happy with.

Best of luck with move, oh one other thing if your driving ferry from Cork to Santander.

That should read Kinsale! Not Mondale.
