i am staying at my brothers apartment in la cala just now. - arrived yesterday.

Last Monday, while my sister was here, endesa cut off the electric and it still hasn't been connected.

Let me be clear, there has been no issue with unpaid bills. All bank statements show payment and endesa have confirmed the account is active. - it appears they have cut the wrong meter off in error! - and surprisingly have no record of my brothers meter being cut.

Emails have been sent, references numbers supplied, visits to endesa in benalmadina - 7 days still nothing.

My brother is currently away with work so has been emailing frantically trying to get this sorted but with great difficulty.

I am looking for someone who may be able to explain to endesa in Spanish and help resolve this.

The English line of endesa has been tried several times and again useless

Your help would be much apprevi

Good luck getting this fixed.  Our Spanish Lawyer advised against Endesa as she personally found them a nightmare to deal with and she is Spanish!  We have signed up with Iberdrola who are much more reliable and easier to deal with on her recommendation.  Can't help with the Spanish speaking but wish you/your brother every success I would suggest when you finally get the matter resolved you seriously consider changing suppliers though.

Hi there, I had a similar problem and took me 3 months to get a new meter fitted after I bought a property in La Cala.

I used a very nice lady who sorted it in a week. She works for Jose Luis Chillon Martin lawyer in fuengarola.

She mat be able to help you for a small fee maybe 200 euros.

Let me know if this is any good and if you send me your email I will send you her address.

Good luck

Andrew

Look for a good gestor cheaper than a lawyer to assist.  Like previous post strongly recommend your brother changes supplier to Iberdrola much more efficient.  online billing and website you can make contact through.  We changed to them when we purchase our house as advised by our lawyer no problems at all.
