Bought a villa in La Cala - help needed with setting up utilities etc

Hi,

We have purchased a holiday villa in La Cala and will complete at the end of May, when we will be coming out to get the keys and set everything up. We need some help and advice with pretty much everything please. How do we set up gas/electric/water/sky/broadband etc?

We will also need to furnish the villa so suggestions on the best place for everything from plates/cutlery/bedding/sunbeds/electrical goods would be much appreciated.

hi

we have done the same

I would advise to stay clear of interior designers and shop in Fuengirola as you have Wortens etc for everything and good stuff not expensive

ask solicitor you used to set up a bank etc for you

do nothing else till u get there and be careful of the helpers

Hi Dave,

Many thanks for the reply. Our agent helped us set up a bank account last time we were out so that is sorted. We have been given a contact by our estate agents for an English couple who live in the same urbanization. They seem very helpful and are only a few doors away so hoping they will be of use. I appreciate your help and advice. I will let you know how we get on! I'm sure to be back asking more questions once we arrive and we see what needs sorting.
