Move to Costa del Sol and make friends

Hi everyone
I’m a young and sociable 60 year old lady looking to move to the Marbella region. I’ve had many holidays in the Costa del Sol and I’ve always wanted to make the move. Could anybody give me a realistic view on how it is to integrate within the expat community over there. I speak good Spanish which I’m sure will be helpful. I would love to hear other people’s stories on how they managed to blend into the community and make new friends especially as a mature person.
