We are coming back out in May to our apartment in La Cala de Mijas & are looking to buy a car. Can anyone recommend car insurance please? We visit our apartment up to 6 months a year to comply with the Schengen rules & are non residents. Thank you

Suggest Liberty Seguros or IBex, both are well known companies in Spain. Any good insurance Broker will give advice in Spain

Thank you. We have our apartment insurance with them so seems the best bet.

Do not forget to try out Linea Directa. They also speak English and their insurance rates are excellent. Not just good rates but they cover everything. Someone bumped into my car in Carrefour. Thankfully I got the license plate number and everything was taken care of and fixed. No charge to me or my insurance. Very nice.
