As GB is no longer part of the EU, you can’t access the EU Covid certificate. You either have to download the NHS app and then I put your Covid vaccination details or print out your nhs vaccination certificate.

I have downloaded the NHS app and have the proof of two jabs.
The implication was that to get into Spain I also needed the EU digital covid certificate.
Do I need the new EU cetificate as well as my NHS certificate?

You just need your nhs proof of vaccination. Only EU nationals and people officially resident in the EU can access the EU digital cert

The Jet2 guidelines at this link are saying that the NHS proof and the locator form are both required?

Yes that’s correct. And you have to do a locator form in the 48 hrs before you depart for Spain and another in the 48 hrs before your return journey. You also have to have a COVID test ( a rapid antigen test will suffice at the moment) before you return and have a PCR test booked for day two after your return to England

...r day two after your return to England
In completing the Spanish locator form it states 48 before arrival in Spain and 48 hours before leaving for spain.
This is a cut and paste from the email I received after completing part 1 of the form:-
Remember that you can start your form (Part 1) whenever
you want, but you can only complete the health and travel history questions and
accept it in the last 2 days before your arrival in Spain
This quotes 2 days before your arrival in Spain.
I was hoping to complete the form part 2 now and get it printed. My flight doesn't land until 12:20. Will I be allowed to fill in Part 2 of the form and if I am will it be valid as it will be just over the 48 hours/ 2 days before my arrival?
Anyone any experience of this?

If you are double vaccinated, more than 14 days earlier, you do not need any Covid-19 test to board the flight from the UK to travel to Spain but you do need to produce a complete Spanish government passenger locator form and NHS proof of vaccination.
The Spanish government passenger locator form includes details about you, your flight number, seat number and where you are staying. It also contains a declaration that you do not have Covid-19 and/or feel ill. This must be completed no sooner than 48 hours before arrival.
If you have a mobile phone, you can fill out the form on your mobile, and the completed form will automatically be emailed to you with a QRS code.
After Passport Control, you go through Covid-19 Control, where you just show this certificate on your mobile and your NHS app certificate also on your mobile.
I made a mistake filling out my passenger control form (filled out the form for transiting through Malaga to another destination), however, I was able to repeat this, without the error, on my mobile at Malaga Airport.
It is like producing an EasyJet or Ryanair boarding pass on your mobile phone. You do not need anything on paper.
Do make sure that your mobile is charged up and also check with your mobile network that you have mobile roaming turned on.
It can happen that, when you renew a mobile contract or switch tariffs, that the roaming is turned off and, when you arrive, you just have a blank screen when you try to access your emails.
That did happen to me on 2 different mobiles, with 2 different networks, the first time I travelled in 18 months, post-Covid-19.
I suggest that you download the passenger locator form and vaccination certificates, save them on your mobile where you can find them, and you will not need a signal/data.
