Hi Nicky

Within the last year people have had to prove they have an address in the area as well as NIE number, medical insurance and income.

Good luck

Hi guys...thanks for all the posts. I didn't know that I needed to think about residency for a 6 month holiday type let. I obviously need to do more research. On a different note...any recommendations for nice restaurants that are friendly for solo female tourists to eat in.

By the way it's been quite cold..grey and raining where I live in the UK. No really.!!

Obviously  you would have an address being in Spain but there is no need for rental agreement.

NIE would be helpful but you can get it with the same residency application which saves you time and money.

You wouldn't have to worry about Residency for 6 months before Brexit.  Here is some information that may be helpful.
