I would like to spend longer than 90 days in Spain.The non lucrative visa is the best option.Private health insurance quotes have been much more than I anticipated.Only 30,000 euros of cover is required so it shouldn't be expensive.Any ideas anyone ?
We also got some ridiculously high quotes. In the end we went with DKV at 64€ per month.

I depends what you call expensive, what was over £600 a month in the UK less the 200 Euro Spain, in the US the average annual cost of health insurance is $7,470 for an individual and $21,342 for a family.

Living on a pension I find many things expensive that were affordable when I was in full time work.

Yes we went through expat insure in Arroyo de la miel (Bedalmadena)

We are looking to spend 10 weeks in Luis de Sabinihlas near Puerto Duquessa on 27th January next year. We are coming from Scotland with a dog. Has anyone got advice on route and what hotels on route are dog friendly.
