Hi, in answer to your question regarding English TV and internet, I can put you in touch with 2 telephone numbers where one does internet and the other does Satellite TV.

Yes, The internet guy is Spanish but speaks good English. The Satellite TV guy is German but also speaks good English. The Internet Guy is

called Michael, and works for a company called FOBOS (which I believe he co-owns). I have moved twice since living here, and he has transferred my equipment both times for a small fee. His number is 952552064. You will usually catch him in first thing in the mornings, as he is out the rest of the day installing the internet systems. My internet connection has never been down - I don't have a landline and connect via a small satellite dish which he installs. He bills you monthly by standing order. He covers most of the Costa Del Sol area.

Then there is the German guy called Dirk who does all kinds of Satellite systems starting from the basic UK channels (BBC1, BBC2 ITV etc., ) which again requires a satellite dish which gives excellent HD TV pictures as well as some UK radio channels.  After your initial purchase of the dish and installation fee, there are no further monthly payments.

He also does a dish which does most, or all of the Sky TV channels. But this is a much bigger dish and is more costly to install. There is also an annual fee which becomes scrambled if you don't renew your annual subscription.

Is there a tv/internet/phone service that is a pay as you go/use service. Currently paying every month for a contract that we use intermittently. We're with Movistar but the Internet connection is not great. Faro de calaburras/ El faro area.
